This year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 series was introduced in February. The Galaxy S24 series, which could debut early next year, is said to be the South Korean tech giant’s replacement and has apparently already begun development. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models are anticipated to be part of the portfolio. The specifications and the design of the smartphones have been hinted at in a number of leaks and rumours. The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s CAD images have recently surfaced online, revealing important design information. The CAD renderings of the alleged Galaxy S24 Ultra have been obtained by SmartPrix and tipper OnLeaks. The Galaxy S23 Ultra (review), the high-end model of Samsung’s future flagship series, is spotted sporting a similar style.
The dimensions of the upcoming smartphone are reported to be around 162.3 x 79 x 8.7mm, while it may weigh approximately 23g. Similar to Apple‘s iPhone 15 series, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is also said to get a titanium build, making the smartphone lighter than before. In terms of battery, it could pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
Finally, the report adds that the Galaxy S24 Ultra could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is said to get a 200-megapixel primary rear camera and for selfies, the phone could house a 12-megapixel front snapper. It is to be noted that Samsung has not announced the upcoming series yet.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra may have a 6.8-inch display, according to earlier claims. According to the most recent renderings, the model will have the thinnest bezels on any smartphone due to a considerable reduction in bezel size. It reportedly has a display with WQHD+ resolution. Additionally, the right edge of the Galaxy S24 Ultra might house an ultra-wideband antenna.
